Tokyo Luthier Recommendation

Mike_L

Recommended Posts

I'm living in Guam and have easy access to Japan. I want to have the nut replaced on my LP Traditional and some Grover Locking Tuners installed. By chance is there anyone in my neighborhood with knowledge of a good Gibson luthier in Tokyo?

Any info would be deeply appreciated.

Thx guys. I'm familiar with the Gibson dealers in Tokyo just not with their luthiers. Being familiar with the Japanese way (my wife is Japanese), I probably will be fine dragging my axe to Japan and popping into one of the numerous shops. [biggrin]

Interestingly I found on the Gibson website lots of dealers in Japan:

but not even an option of selecting Guam. Perhaps it is best to post a request to the Customer Service:

I would go with the second suggestion here. Gibson can likely steer you to an Authorized Service provider.

Cap, where you been man?! Guess you made it through "the season" okay. Good to see you on here again.
