Still have'nt managed to take a pic that does Her justice! She's just a stock ( at this stage) natural but- She's purty. [biggrin]

Ps does the frequensator tailpiece sound different to the trapeze? Or feel different?

I`ll play.

Here is my 1983 Matsumoku made Casino, with a few modifications.

The tailpiece is from a 1964 Gibson 330, the bridge is Kluson made non wire with nylon saddles. the pickups are Gibson USA P-90s, the truss rod cover is an original 1966 item. And the tuners have been replaced with gold Grover`s. It`s my favourite of the many I`ve played over the years. [biggrin]

Steve.

Here is a before and after couple of my 2001 Peerless casino. If you want to see a complete blow by blow of the process go to the Epiphone lounge the entire process is documented under Buffalo Bob's Casino overhaul.

So, Crust...did you buy all 3, at the same time, or are you just not playing them? I notice

the tags, and covers on the pickguards are still there. [biggrin]

If I had 6 arms, I'd play them at the same time...lol. I have been able to obtain several guitars recently. I do like Epiphones. I also picked this up too. I want to modify the Casino with a Bigsby and that trem attachment thing, I am also working on the old Montoya LP . I want to add a Bigsby to that. It will look like Neal Young's Black LP, a little. So, a few new, and a few old to do some work on. Hey, check this out, I really dig this one. I don't have only Epiphones in my assortment. This is my 2nd Gretsch, It sounds really good, different, brighter than the P93'S which I really like. You know, I could obtain one nice Gibson, but, for now, I'll stick (mostly) to Epiphone guitars. To me, they are great instruments, to me.

Do you have a Casino? Post your Pic's so we can see them all.

Thanks

Lars

The Casino is IMO an under rated guitar, equal to many costing a LOT more.

Hey Crust i have her twin sister i really like it. how about you.

Love at first sight. Actually, I had a Casino (natural) which I had fixed (it had a broken off head stock, I have posted previous pictures of ) but sold after I fixed it. This new one is...awesome...lol, it really is. I can'y find 1 thing to complain about, the thing is a work of art. I will make 1 comment. I want to put a Bigsby, Vibromate and a roller bridge on, probably will, soon. Would you believe, that with all the instruments I am fortunate enough to have acquired over the years, I play the yellow LP Special 1 about more than any of them. But, getting back to the Casino, I can't heap enough praise on Epiphone for making such a great guitar. I suppose that if and when I change out the bridge, the strings will also be changed out too. I usually use D'Darrio strings. I sent in the form to get the free power supply offer thing, the Casino, Swingster, Royal red Riviera and the LP Florentine. Think they will send me 4 ? lol

I have a few pedals, but not 32...yet...lolunsure.gif

The first thing I played on it was the opening riff to "I want to hold your hand" msp_thumbup.gifmsp_biggrin.gif

When I touch my new red Casino guitar, it's such a feeling that, I get high....lolmsp_lol.gif
