Karloff
great stuff. he had a tremendous influence on Jorma Kaukonen's playing. I'm a fan of both of them ...
jdgm
I believe he picked with thumb and 2 fingers. There are no more of those guys left now.....memories...the Joe Boyd book 'White Bicycles' has some good tales of Gary Davis on European tour about '64 with Sister Rosetta Tharpe and others... a really good read. Good one Rowdy. I'd put up "Nobody's Fault But Mine" too but for the damn ads....love that one; versions by Nina Simone and Better Days as well as Willie. Regards! surfpup
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4fpPgo4Deo4 Really great two finger picking. Also thinking about the audio. The sound of a distance miked acoustic guitar is something you never hear anymore - they are always close miked.
