The UPS Truck Arrived - UPDATED

That is really cool looking already without the finish [thumbup]

Should have a unique tone as well when completed. Rosewood is so often used for back and sides, but a walnut body with Rosewood top should be real "woody' sounding.

Hope everything goes smoothly and let us know how it all comes out.

  • 3 weeks later...

Got her finished a few days ago, but it was too hot outside for taking photos.

It plays like a dream and I think I'll put my Fender Telecasters up for sale.

Oh yeah, after checking with Warmoth, they said it was a indeed satin finish. I took it to my guitar tech and he confirmed it was.

To say I'm happy would be an understatement. [biggrin]

Thanks everyone! I can't recommend Warmoth highly enough.

All made in USA, licensed by Fender & to me it is far superior to any Fender I've ever owned.

bobf_Barbera, it's not a light weight, and I haven't weighed it, but it's not as heavy as my heaviest Les Paul.

Thanks again,

Mike

Man, the grain on that body.... WOW! [thumbup]

What kind of nut is that? Looks different - unless it's just a trick of the light.

Thanks Quap & surfpup!

The nut is a Graph tech Black Tusq XL. Probaly a trick of the light. The sun was bright on the left side hence the reflection from the bridge on the body just to bridge left.
