Dear All!

Could someone please help me to identify my Epiphone Les Paul? I have uploaded some images HERE

The guitar is orginally from Austria as far as I know, and was bought in Hungary back in 1999.

Thanks in advance for any ideas! :)

Congrats on your nice Epiphone Les Paul guitar. According to

http://www.guitardaterproject.org/epiphone.aspx

Your guitar was made at the

Samick Plant, Korea

August 1998

Production Number: 6927

Hope this helps.

Hi Capmaster!

Thanks for the note. Can you also help to identify the type of the instrument? I guess it's an LP Standard, but I'm not sure about the exact type. Thanks. András

If you pull back the 1/4 inch thick clear .. you might find its a laminate sticky paper.. they do those on the non cut Gretsch syncros as well.

Is that a reference to the thick finish and veneer top?

Still does not change the fact that it's a LP Standard plus top.
