gbundi Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Dear All! Could someone please help me to identify my Epiphone Les Paul? I have uploaded some images HERE The guitar is orginally from Austria as far as I know, and was bought in Hungary back in 1999. Thanks in advance for any ideas! :) András

Can you also help to identify the type of the instrument? I guess it's an LP Standard, but I'm not sure about the exact type. Thanks. András

slimt Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 it appears to be a Les Paul Standard Plus Top. If you pull back the 1/4 inch thick clear .. you might find its a laminate sticky paper.. they do those on the non cut Gretsch syncros as well.
cjsinla Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 If you pull back the 1/4 inch thick clear .. you might find its a laminate sticky paper.. they do those on the non cut Gretsch syncros as well. Is that a reference to the thick finish and veneer top?
