Title says it all! Can't be anymore happier than I am right now. [biggrin] Got a 2000 natural Gibson Les Paul Standard, Fender Blues Junior, and three BOSS pedals today! The pedals are a DD-7 Digital Delay, CE-5 Chorus Ensemble, and a CS-3 Compression Sustainer.

Congratulations! I think we all know that feeling, coming home with AWESOME toys, like yours.

I just recently bought a beautiful Epiphone LP and after 3 days, I was in love. However, it kept bugging me, "I could have bought a Gibson, if I wanted to."

So 3 days later, I was back in GC, trading in the Epi, for a Les Paul Studio Pro. Couldn't be happier with it, been wanting one for 30 years... So I had to make the dream a reality. Played my guitar more the last week, than probably the last several combined. The Les Paul, definitely brought my love for playing back.

Again, congrats... always happy to see someone get something special.

Very beautiful Les Paul, congrats, HNGD! [thumbup]

HNAD as well, congrats on your Blues Junior. Nice amp, good choice. [thumbup]

Finally, H3NPD, on your BOSS pedals. [biggrin][thumbup]

Lots of these made me happy for many years, not just due to their colour. E. g. the BF-2 was unique for the day and blew most choruses when using a long predelay setting, oddly meaning rotating the "Manual" control counterclockwise.

I operated about a dozen BOSS stomp boxes, up to eight and typically six of them for nearly two decades. I used BF-2, NF-1, DM-2, GE-6, PV-1, PW-1, and two CS-1s. Later I added GE-7, DD-2, CE-3, RV-2, and PH-2. Except for the unreliable RV-2, they all worked fine. Then I switched to digital emulation but still use the contactless, hall controlled PV-1 volume and PW-1 wah pedals. Sadly they don't make such ones anymore. When about wahs, volumes, and wah/volume combinations, actually the Morley Mini series are the real deal in my opinion. No pots, no crackling. B)

Thanks, everyone! The whole package was $1,800, believe it or not. Glories of Craigslist, haha. Yeah, I know the natural finish is rare. I'm telling you all, pictures do not do it justice. Have to see it in person. Absolutely beautiful! And sounds and plays amazing. The previous owner said it's one first Raw Power Standard's when they were introduced back in 2000. It is a 2000 Les Paul Standard, by the way. Fender Blues Junior SCREAMS! Very happy with it, too. I used to have a Pro Junior, which was my very first tube amp, but I got rid if it a few years back and have regretted it and been kicking myself in the butt for getting rid of it. Basically about the same as a Pro Junior with more controls and a 12 inch speaker instead of 10 inch. So, I've VERY satisfied. Now, my verdict on the pedals. The CS-3 Compression Sustainer is a keeper and I'm satisfied with. Don't have a Compressor and have been considering getting one for a little while now. I like it a lot. Now, I've been playing with the CE-5 Chorus Ensemble and DD-7 Digital Delay and A/Bing them with my MXR Carbon Copy and MXR Black Label Chorus pedal and I like my MXR's better. So, I am considering doing something with those. Going to mess with the DD-7 and CE-5 some more, so we'll see on those two. Couldn't be happier. [biggrin] Finally having a Gibson Les Paul Standard has been a dream come true for me ever since I first picked up guitar back in 2000 when I was 8 years old. [smile]

Pedal update. Like I said, I love this BOSS CS-3 Compression Sustainer. Very happy with it. Still like my MXR Carbon Copy better than I do my BOSS DD-7 Digital Delay, so I'll probably go ahead and sell the DD-7. Now, I've been messing with my BOSS CE-5 Chorus Ensemble and comparing it with my MXR Black Label Chorus. At first, I liked my Black Label Chorus better, but the more I messed with my BOSS CE-5, the more I liked it. So, I'm torn about getting rid of it.

Congratulations!!! [thumbup][thumbup]

Just an awesome looking LP! The natural finish is in a league of its own. I would love to plug my two semi-hollows into that Fender Blues Junior amp, too! [wink]

HNGD, HNAD, and HNPD!!! [smile]
