RichG Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Sheesh... Nice... But it also makes me wonder if we'll not be seeing increasing walnut use... m Yeah, fiberglass boats and airplanes and walnut guitars. It's a slippery slope But it is a pretty guitar! Rich
milod Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Well... I got one of the first fiberglass AE guitars from Ovation "way back when." Actually in that same general time period there was kinda a regional fad of making guitars, fiddles and mandolins. I never got into it myself at that point, but walnut was pretty popular among those folks, and their stuff wasn't the beauty of good store-bought stuff or better luthiers, but they were playable and didn't sound bad at all. m
MorrisrownSal Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 I played one of these. It is my lottery guitar, Juan. Thanks for posting this - it is one of the best demos and yearn-inspiring guitars MV has put up to date.
