Epiphone Lock-On Bridge

Hello,

I have an Epiphone Les Paul and a few months ago I gave it to specialist to fix the Action and the Frets.

I took it back a few days later and I am very pleased with the guitar.

A few days ago I changed strings and I discovered that the Lock-On bridge have been replaced by a bridge which is not Lock-On, I was very angry and disappointed.

I contacted my local dealer in order to buy a new Lock-On bridge but he told me that it is not available.

I just would like to ask if there is a way to buy a new Lock-On bridge directly from Epiphone or what other alternatives I have.

Thanks

they can be purchased but you have to do it through an authorized Epiphone dealer.

Never heard of an Authorized Epi dealer selling replacement parts.

None of the ones around here sell them.

Try Ebay :)

beat your "specialist" about the head and neck until he agrees to return your origional Epi LockTone bridge !! [cursing]

I can't believe your tech replaced your bridge without consulting you first...

You should be notified of any change of OE on your guitar and given that part back when you picked it up.

Why do you have to pay for a replacement part when the OE might not have a thing wrong with it?

You should always keep all original parts from your guitar or any piece of gear if you have work done on them...

Amps, guitars basses...

When and if you go to sell that could make a big dif. In the price...

he was not an authorized tech, just someone who occasionally do repairs.

probably he did not do it deliberately,

thanks for the advice,
