IanHenry
I'm surprised no one has brought this up before, very "interesting" version of a Led Zep classic. pippy
I thought it was just fine, Ian. In fact it didn't sound terribly different from the original....... P.
'Scales
I wish Janis Joplin had have stuck around to do a cover of Since I've Been Loving You - now that would've been something.

Searcy
I can't help but notice that Miss Miley is taking a lot of hints out of Pinks play book. She's been doing this one for years.

brc
She sings a whole lot better than Plant ever did. Truthfully, I just dont get the fasination with her. I wont say what I actually think of her, or her lack of talent as far as I am concerened. You could not pay me to see her, or even buy any of her "music"
Searcy
The only thing I ever see of her are what her detractors keep posting on line. L like you I can't see what the big deal is . She's as talented as most other pop tarts out there these day. What is everyone getting so upset about?
rct
She dared cover Zep. rct
EVOL!
She's as talented as most other pop tarts out there these day. I think she's more talented. Watch her tv appearances. Most will wimp out and lip sync. She actually sings live. Really liked here version of Wrecking Ball on SNL.
Hoya
Nice to see one of the new bunch lovin' some of the old bunch! +1 - I like the fact that Miley's version will probably introduce a great song to a whole new demographic. It will lead them to discover Zeppelin AND the original songwriter Anne Bredon.
jaxson50
Does it matter how well she sings when she herself makes her act controversial with simulated acts of... ? well you know what I mean. I tried to watch her, sorry, no matter how well she sings I can't help feel the price for listening to her is to watch child porn.

The sound quality on my poo-poor laptop speakers wasn't good but I liked that one, too. Thanks Searcy. I'll search for a better quality version when I have time to give her a better crack of the whip. +1 - I like the fact that Miley's version will probably introduce a great song to a whole new demographic. It will lead them to discover Zeppelin AND the original songwriter Anne Bredon. Yes, I agree completely. ...I tried to watch her, sorry, no matter how well she sings I can't help feel the price for listening to her is to watch child porn. This is an interesting viewpoint, jaxson. I don't get the reference to child porn at all. I'm guessing she has a rather risque stage-show? A quick check tells me that she'll be 22 in a couple of months time so.... I must admit I know nothing about her whatsoever and was, therefore, judging the song in the OP solely on her actual performance. And I still say it's a fine version of the song. But hey; that's just my own opinion. P.
IanHenry
I personally think her version sounds awful. I think I understand the reference to child porn, it's not her age, it's the age of her target audience. As a former teacher it does concern me the overly sexualised images that very young children are exposed to (I understand pop music has always been a sexual media) but you can guarantee that on non uniform days at School, someone will allow their Daughter to arrive dressed like Miss Cyrus. Searcy
Plants endless caterwauling and his inexplicable need to impersonate a woman having an orgasim has always made it sort of difficult for me to listen to too much Zepplin. To be honest the only thing that ever drew me to LZ was the drums and bass which were phenomenal.
badbluesplayer
On the scale from choirboy to screamer, Plant was pretty much a screamer. Not necessarily bad, just his way of singing.
rct
Plants endless caterwauling and his inexplicable need to impersonate a woman having an orgasim has always mad it sofa cult for me to listen to too much Zepplin. To be honest the only thing that ever drew me to LZ was the drums and bass which was phenomenal. Same here. Never really even thought of Page, was never a big fan or anything, just the drummer and bass player, driving that thing along. Sometimes the writer/arranger gets enormous help from the guys he's working with, and them two were it for that band. rct
Yodacaster
Zep didn't write this song, so technically its not desecrating Led Zep. I didn't much care for this version.
