surfpup Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Those do sound great. I am seriously thinking to put a Firebird mini-hum in the neck of my Tele.

bonzoboy Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 I had a set of early '60s spec mini-hums wound for my Epi Firebird V by Craig Vineham of Botwood,NL,Canada.Craig's pickups are just incredible and actually blow away many from really well known and respected makers. Now if I could only find pickup surrounds that would fit mini-hums for an Epi Firebird-I have looked everywhere I can think of and haven't had any luck.Any suggestions?
surfpup Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 that would be cool. different... Never been to happy with the Tele neck pup. Options include: fullsize humbucker, P90, Mini-Hum/Firebird, Strat style single coil. Leaning toward the mini-hum right now.

Leaning toward the mini-hum right now. Well, the Fender Hot Rod '52 Reissue comes with a Duncan mini hum in the neck, so it's not Too out of the ordinary. -Ryan
