A big Gibson doing what it was born to do...

Thanks. I really can't take much credit for the recording quality, though. I just set up a pair of crossed mics, not even matched - one SM 58 and one Samson - and played and sang. And actually it sounded better with one mic pointed at the 12th fret and the other dedicated to vocals, but I liked this performance best, so kept it. This is just a pretty quiet, dry room, and Garage Band 10s tools are good. Just a touch of reverb and compression, a tiny bit of EQ. I have the patience to record this way. Layering tracks? Not so much.

Phelonius,

There are many musicians these days recording simply. Your voice is fantastic and superior to many people who record professionally. I look forward to checking out the rest of your channel.

Do you write any material?

There are a couple of originals on Soundcloud, but they're live band recordings from a million years ago. I hope to get some newer stuff up soon. Thanks.
