E-minor7 Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Time to play - Take a good look at this 60's CW and you'll find the bridge have been switched at some point. Here's the test : What else is extraordinary peculiar about this ol' sweetheart ? http://www.ebay.com/...=item43cf248c37
stein Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 I am just taking a wild guess here, but something about the fretboard seems wrong. I read in the description "oddly missing the first fret inlay", but it wouldn't. I think there are too many, as the one by the soundhole shouldn't be there? I don't know. But for some reason, the fretbaord and the inlays keep drawing my eye. I don'y know if this counts as an answer, but I'd bet that guitar has had a MAJOR neck reset.
kelly campbell Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 I agree something just seems wrong about the fretboard
wonderful remark Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 The parellogram(sp?) looks wrong, too far apart..?
vacamartin Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Last fret should not be at the end of the fret board!
E-minor7 Posted October 5, 2014 Author Posted October 5, 2014 Yes, it's definitely the parallelograms all moved a step up the board. Think the information was added after I contacted the seller - so in a way I gave away the answer myself. Not difficult to spot anyway. Stein, you take gold - 'ave a good Sunday all of you. .
