Ryan H Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 1-7 semitones up, down or both at the same time, plus 1-3 octaves up, down or both at once. And a microtonal detune mode that makes a pseudo-chorus. Momentary or latching. Expression pedal out. Blend knob so you can make your guitar a bass, or a baritone, or a pseudo-organ.... Supposedly already starting to ship out to retailers (according to EHX_Engineering on Reddit) and MAP is $131. Picking this up as soon as it comes in...no question -Ryan
btoth76 Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Hello Ryan! This is indeed a great unit. I've spent some time finding a good-sounding pitch-shifter. Unfortunately, many sound so unnatural and weak. The one I am really satisfied with, is one of the digital models I have in my Zoom MS-50G. That's great! Cheers... Bence
RevDavidLee Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 EHX never ceases to amaze me. Their ongoing innovation is an American treasure. Love those folks! My most recent purchase was my B9 and it certainly won't be my last. Wasn't aware of this one - thanks for posting that!
RevDavidLee Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 I should have known that was Bill Ruppert demoing that one - he's been doing the most fantastic demos of EHX effects for quite awhile now. I used to chat with him back in the Harmony Central days. Everyone should visit his Effectology series of videos - the man is simply amazing in every aspect and demonstrates beyond question that effects pedals are an essential part of creating soundscapes you could not otherwise create. I'm a huge fan of his. He has an open invitation to come to the Rockets Studios anytime. Great job Bill as always my friend!
Ryan H Posted October 8, 2014 Author Posted October 8, 2014 Just contacted my local Long & McQuade. $140 + tax and available to order. Looks like my wallet's going on a diet tomorrow... -Ryan
Big Bill Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Damn it Ryan, now you got me spending more money!
Riffster Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 This pedal is incredible, I am going to end up with one of thee eventually.
Ryan H Posted October 9, 2014 Author Posted October 9, 2014 Ordered mine today. They say it can take up to 2 months buy it'll probably be here in a couple weeks... -Ryan
krock Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 This looks cool but my octron does all the octave stuff I need it to
RowdyMoon Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 Ordered mine today. RevDavidLee Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 This looks cool but my octron does all the octave stuff I need it to I have all of Foxrox's pedals. And you are correct sir - the Octron is superb. The other favorite of mine from Dave Fox is his TZF (Through Zero Flanger). I'm so glad I scored one when he was still making them. Nothing else compares.

I'm crossing my fingers that since I ordered it only 2 days after they announced it that mine's in the first batch...the store literally got it in their system the morning of the day I came in. Contacted EHX and they said the pedals are shipping out this week (this was 2 days ago). -Ryan
Ryan H Posted October 14, 2014 Author Posted October 14, 2014 Okay...got an email from Mike Waters at L&M head office after inquiring about the 2-3 month ETA the store clerk gave me...he said that's incorrect. The Pitch Fork is already in stock at the distributor. Should have mine next week :D. -Ryan
