SteveFord
Yep, they're around - one fellow has one that's lived in the case since 2006 so maybe that one will come home with me eventually. That would complete my electric guitar collection. On mine I found that the neck pick up sounded great, the other combinations were kind of wimpy by comparison. Is it that way with yours? DynoByte
Not happy with those at all. Planning on getting alnico pups hotter in the bridge and middle and rewiring the switching system.
SteveFord
Let us know what you come up with. There's a Johnny Winter signature pick up (non Gibson) which might be worth looking into. http://www.mojotone.com/guitar-parts/pickups-humbucker/johnny-winter-firebird#.VR3PfrktFdg

DynoByte
That's sharp , one word of advice better keep the gold parts polished 4H She's still in new condition because it's in the case most of the time. Now the case is another story. It's got to be the biggest deepest guitar case ever made just because of the banjo tuners, much bigger than a bass case. It will get a bit more love when I put in the alnico pickups.

Makinley29
Very nice! Been eyeing up the pelham blue NR hits myself. How's she play? She plays very well, neck is quite slim, it was set up bang on factory specs but I lowered the action slightly for my personal taste. Biggest thing I noticed was the definition in the notes, it's much better than a lot of other guitars I'd played. The controls are very responsive to. Plus it smells really nice 😂

The looks are to die for and the mini hums sound fantastic and different to my Firebird V. Sorry no pics 'cause my photobucket does not cooperate anymore and I gave up. By any means get this "Bluebird", you won't regret it.
