Show off your Firebirds

Recommended Posts

Yep, they're around - one fellow has one that's lived in the case since 2006 so maybe that one will come home with me eventually. That would complete my electric guitar collection.

On mine I found that the neck pick up sounded great, the other combinations were kind of wimpy by comparison. Is it that way with yours?

1st post, hello from chattanooga. 2014 firebird. Love it, string changes are super quick and she sings. I'll have to take a lower quality pic when I'm home won't let me upload.

Welcome.

Have to join the club, 2006 Firebird VII. Thinking of changing the pickups to 60's style.

That's sharp , one word of advice better keep the gold parts polished

She's still in new condition because it's in the case most of the time. Now the case is another story. It's got to be the biggest deepest guitar case ever made just because of the banjo tuners, much bigger than a bass case. It will get a bit more love when I put in the alnico pickups.

Here's my 2015 non reverse in vintage sunburst.

Finally managed to get my hands on a non reverse 😀

Very nice! Been eyeing up the pelham blue NR hits myself. How's she play?

She plays very well, neck is quite slim, it was set up bang on factory specs but I lowered the action slightly for my personal taste.

Biggest thing I noticed was the definition in the notes, it's much better than a lot of other guitars I'd played. The controls are very responsive to. Plus it smells really nice 😂

Got the pelham blue yesterday. The looks are to die for and

the mini hums sound fantastic and different to my Firebird V.

Sorry no pics 'cause my photobucket does not cooperate anymore and I gave up.

By any means get this "Bluebird", you won't regret it.

Umph! Not what I wanted to hear haha [biggrin]

Glad you like it, still on my list... I am sucker for pelham. The new midtown standard caught my eye as well.... I am still wanting a goldtop LP. So many guitars, so little money [cursing]

I updated the knobs from black/silver to gold/silver, and added the switch ring.
