houndman55 Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 I've heard speculations and rumors that Gibson had a brief stint of making violins in the 1930's or something. The market was good cause' the Japanese and German manufacturers were dealing with problems of the the great depression or world war II or whatever. I've also heard that they even made children's toys (out of wood). Any truth to this?
