milod
Here's another to hear as metaphor... Gotta listen to the last line... "I will find peace in the buffalo grass..." after listening to how that line came to be. I guess it makes me feel a bit sorry for city folks who don't live those cycles of change... And perhaps for a day when there is no more short grass prairie as doctors and lawyers buy up the land for vacations and the feds make ranch life as nearly extinct as the buffalo... brand 'em in the spring, ship 'em in the fall and when that's done for good... only the wind remains. m

darling67
Not sure why I can't find a video on youtube for it, but... Treat Her Gently/Lonely Old People by Paul McCartney & Wings. One of those McCartney tracks that is not one of his "greatest", but what most other artists would wish they could list among there's.
L8_4thesh0w
Seems way too much like this was written for me http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NmaaZ0kJXJU Long ago and far away in a different age, when I was a dumb young guy, fossilized photos of my life then illustrate what an easy prey I must have been. Standing in the sun, idiot savant, something like a monument. I'm a dinosaur... somebody is digging my bones. I'm a dinosaur... somebody is digging my bones. Ignorance has alway been something I excel in, followed by naivety and pride. Doesn't take a scientist to see how any clever predator could have a piece of me. Standing in the sun, idiot savant, something like a monument. I'm a dinosaur... somebody is digging my bones. I'm a dinosaur- Ooh, when I look back on the past it's a wonder I'm not yet extinct. All the mistakes and bad judgments I made nearly pushed me to the brink. It doesn't pay to be too nice. It's the one thing I have learned. Still, I made my fossil bed and now I toss and turn. I'm a dinosaur...Somebody is digging my bones. I'm a dinosaur...Somebody is digging my bones. I'm a dinosaur...Somebody is digging my bones. I'm a dinosaur...Somebody is digging my bones.
