Rabs Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 Nice design (ohh and its a Kickstarter business)
kidblast Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 yea Rabs, I've been looking at these with great interest. Looks like a pretty cool idea. Will eventually pick one up. as a guy who plays as much acoustic as I do electric, must have a trusty capo.
jdgm Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 Think the sliding capo idea has been done before but can't say when or who as all my old Guitar mags are in storage....Kyser quick change capo, was that one? And didn't the late great Albert Collins capo up and down as necessary? But if it's capos you want, this guy has about 5 on the headstock and starts with 2 on the guitar!

Wow never seen that before... Interesting technique... I bet that demands LOTS of practicing and working out.. Cool though
kidblast Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 the whole way these guys implement the "slide" capability is I think far more advanced than Kyser (I have a few of these,, they are ok they are too bulky/big tho. I like the planet Waves NS, (much smaller, not as clunky) and these are like those.

Yeah, they look good and there is a 'lite' version in ABS. Also - Dunlop acoustic trigger capo, 'G7th' capo (many variants), Glider capo and even single- and 2-string capos. Need to check these out!

I got one of these G7th capos... it works really well.. not that I ever use it of course

Also - they work ok but, they are a little fiddly to put on and take off tho. this Thalia capo -- it's on my wish list for sure. (unless I find out it's $125.00!!) I may try that G7 thingy..
