skilsaw
My son received a Gibson SJ200 for his birthday. I noticed that the serial number is machine printed. All the serial numbers I see in the photos posted here are hand written. Here is the information on the guitar that I was able to look up: Model: SJ200 –Serial # 10062050 Guitar Info Your guitar was made at the Bozeman Plant , MA, USA January 6th, 2012 Production Number: 50 So my question is, "Is the machine printed serial number a clue that the guitar could be a fake?" skilsaw
Thanks BigKahune. I can rest easy. As for it being a nice B'day gift, I'm retired now and I get pleasure spending some of my money before I die.
