skilsaw Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 I see NGD used in the forum and can't figure out what it means. Anybody want to clue me in?
Rabs Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 I see NGD used in the forum and can't figure out what it means. Anybody want to clue me in? Usually New Guitar Day.. but could also mean new Gear day...
skilsaw Posted November 4, 2014 Author Posted November 4, 2014 Thanks. Pretty obvious once you know. I've been puzzled by it since I came on the forum. After finally asking the question, I figured it out myself and you confirmed my guess.

milod Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Hmmmmm.... And here I thought it was a diet program, "No Gustatory Diet." Ah, well. Hmmmmm. Good thing I'd never joke about such stuff. m
capmaster Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 After successful dating of a person instead of a guitar, it may possibly stand for "New Girl Day" or "New Guy Day" ;)
milod Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Cap... Or... it could mean ... Naaaaah. I'm not going to go there. <laughing out loud> m
capmaster Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Life can be full of surprise. Recently I learned here that "Poker Chip" means the toggle switch washer usually saying "RHYTHM" and "TREBLE". Finally I am able to figure out when people talk about a PC on a guitar.
buliwyf Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 just a few more, NAD = new amp day, NPD = new pedal day,or I've seen it as new pickup day, also remember if you do use these you have to post a picture of the new item or it isnt true. Well there's more but my brain just froze. I once used NHD and it was looked at a lot just not many reply's and I was curious how many formites got it,it actually stood for New Harmonica Day.My dad had passed and my mom sent me all his harmonicas, some super sweet Chromatic Honers, yep I posted pictures.
capmaster Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 What? I thought it was 'nice genitals dear'. Now that would explain the term "guitar porn" :)
zigzag Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 BTW, IMO, around here, it usually means New Gibson Day.
