sj200strummer
hello, my name is Ilja and live in bavaria. taylor guitars started me playing acoustic guitars, as time went by i was looking for something different. always liked the look of the SJ200 but i thought that guitar must sound way too boomy because of its big size. one day i went into a music-store and there she was a blonde SJ200 STD i grabbed her and what can i say, look at my account name.... gibson got me at that moment, i sold my 2 taylors and couple of weeks later i got myself a burst SJ200 STD. some time later i tried other gibson models and ended up buying a J45. i´m really happy to be in such a great community, a lot of knowledge here around about gibson guitars. (i read a lot in this forum before but finally i registered myself) not so much spare time at the moment because of work but i promise i´ll post some pics of my beautys! greets from bavaria, ilja. E-minor7
Hello Bavaria - Goin' deeper into Gibsonian territory, you will enjoy it here. To tell you - and everyone else watching these threads - the truth, all that can be said about the 20 most common 'wooden' Gibson models over the last 60 years, is to be found on the pages behind us. A good opportunity to underline this once more . Some topics will re-cycle, of course they will and that's fine. But it's all here, , , and inside the acoustical brains of the various rather incredible members aboard.
capmaster
Hello Ilja, and welcome to this nice place. Your topic title makes me guess you're a man of wealth and taste, oooh, oooh... :P Not sure though if I'd guess your name. Ahem... my Bavarian humour just ran away somehow I think. There are lots of nice people around here, sharing knowledge, experience, and also having fun. :) Great you decided to contribute here, too!
