PingPongBob
Well, it's mostly filler, in-between songs that didn't make any of the already released Pink Floyd albums, but I like it. It's always good to me to hear some Mr. Gilmour I haven't heard before. It also came with a Blu-Ray disc I will check out tomorrow.

flyingarmadillo
I got mine yesterday - If you're a Pink Floyd fan you'll probably want it, if you're not a fan, this certainly won't make you one. My understanding is that a lot of it is out takes and transitions they decided not to use from the Division Bell sessions. The BluRay won't play on my computer and I haven't been ambitious enough to haul it to the media room.
L5Larry
My wife and I just heard an NPR review of the album. I said "don't waste your money", and she said "it's my money and I'm going to buy it." She REALLY likes "Division Bell", so she'll probably like this. The concept of taking old recordings and adding new parts can be pretty interesting. In the late 80's I found some studio recorded rhythm tracks of a band I played with in the mid-70's. I called up the songwriter and said "Hey, let's finish these songs." We were actually able to call in the original band members. It turned out pretty interesting, but as producer and engineer (on both sessions), I'll never really be able to listen to them without a critical ear. I'm sure Mason and Gilmore feel the same way about this offering.
Marshall Paul
Have just heard on the radio that the album has debuted at No.1 in the UK. First time Floyd has done that in over 20 years.
PingPongBob
Have just heard on the radio that the album has debuted at No.1 in the UK. First time Floyd has done that in over 20 years. I have a feeling there are going to be a bunch of disappointed listeners after hearing for the second time. Count me in as one.
