marlowe
Hi! I have a 1968 Kalamazoo KG-10 that I purchased overseas about 15 years ago. It took me a while to figure out what it was....it has a smaller body and plays really well. I'd upload photos, but I'm having trouble with the attachment. It's in great shape, although the varnish has worn off. Wondering where I might sell it online? Any ideas would be appreciated....I live in St Paul Minnesota. duluthdan
Here's a tutorial on how to best post pictures on this site. http://forum.gibson.com/index.php?/topic/11005-sticky-how-to-post-photos/ There's a "Trading Post" sub forum where guitars for sale are offered and discussed. http://forum.gibson.com/index.php?/forum/71-the-trading-post/ Good Luck ! "Willies Guitars" in St Paul might be a good resource for background and prices. http://williesguitars.com/index.cfm/gibson_acoustics/
zombywoof
The Kalmazoo brand was resurrected by Gibson in 1965 when demand for guitars was hitting a new high. The Kalamazoo LG-10 was pretty much the same guitar as the Gibson LG-0 and I believe was the only 1960s Kalamazoo flattop available. They show up in 1968 and do not believe they were offered past maybe 1970.
