Lefty Bass
Got a used EB-13 last Friday, very nice OHSC. This bass is LIGHT! Balances well, the satin finish is gonna allow me to not worry about scratches and dings like I would with a gloss finish. The neck is "different" but in a good way; kinda shallow from top to back. The bridge is an amazing piece of engineering, I had to go online to figure out how to adjust it but after that it was easy. The pickguard is the only negative; the tortoiseshell looks very cheesy and the guard is so flimsy that it flexes when pulling the cable out of the jack. Needs a side-mounted jack or better pickguard. Large variety of tones, each pickup can be tapped by pulling up it's volume knob. The great thing is there's no real loss of output volume with the pickup tapped. My fave setting is with both pickups and tone maxxed and bridge pickup tapped. Gaolee
Congratulations! My new to me EB looks exactly like yours, except mirror image. I swore up and down I didn't need another bass, but it came along and that was that.
