billyg
I cruise this forum occasionally. It started when I purchased my JB Signature and has continued as I become more familiar with Gibson acoustics. I have a question about the JB model currently shown on gibson.com. It looks like there have been some changes in the specifications, namely, rosewood bridge pins and pearloid tuning buttons. Has anyone else noticed? This is purely curiosity on my part. I guess I should never be surprised with any Gibson spec changes, but making spec changes on a limited run of signature instruments is a little interesting. Thanks. JuanCarlosVejar
I checked the website . It says the tuners are ivoroid & as far as bridge pins it just reads traditional .which I guess are ths same black plastic pins . JC
billyg
After looking again, I think you are right. The pins shown on the additional pictures are all brown and I got a little confused about the reference to rosewood bridge, given the layout of the specs. They are brown, and I really haven't seen any JB models with brown pins. They are usually white, like mine. Thanks for response.
