surfpup
I'm sure some of you have seen this on Facebook or elsewhere, but for those who have not it's a list of songs used by the CIA to torture prisoners prior to interrogation. I thought it was interesting. http://anonhq.com/list-songs-cia-used-torture-muslim-prisoners/ Included: “The Real Slim Shady” by Eminem “Take Your Best Shot” by Dope “I Love You” by The Barney Theme “Saturday Night Fever” by the Bee Gees The Meow Mix theme “The Beautiful People” by Marilyn Manson “We Are the Champions” by Queen

surfpup
What about Zappa's, "Torture Never Stops" ? I like Zappa, but much of his stuff on 24 hour repeat would drive me nuts. A better question might be... what could you stand on 24 hour repeat?
pippy
A better question might be... what could you stand on 24 hour repeat?... Wagner's "Der Ring des Nibelungen" would be a pretty good starting point. Even performed without a break it would still take over 16 hours to go from start-to-end. At the same time you would be listening to some of the best music ever written. By anyone. Ever. Ever ever. IMO. I'd give it a go under duress. Might even aid my better understanding of the work to give it my complete and undivided attention for a prolonged spell....... P.

saturn
My oldest son was right at that age when the whole Barney thing was at it's peak (early 1990s). I hope to never hear that song again. If I'm tortured with it, I'm afraid I'd crack immediately.
zigzag
Slim Whitman's "Indian Love Call!" Worked on the Martians! CB My parents rented a trombone for me when I was nine. I could play the hell out of Indian Love Call. (When I'm calling you...ooo...ooo...ooo....ooo.ooo.ooo) (Gotta love it!)

Marshall Paul
In Navy/Army capture training they used to strip us naked and throw us in a cell for days (and nights) on end, complete silence, until you lost your sense of time, then tie us to a chair, then beat the snot out of us while trying to interigate us. None of our team ever cracked. We passed. However, had they played anything from Yoko Ono to me, I would have cracked the second they started! "OK mate, I'll tell you anything you want! Strategic Battle Order?, Tactical Plan? My sisters phone number?" lol
