ksdaddy
A year ago I saw a youtube video of Joe singing Van Morrison's "Into the Mystic" on a German TV show. The link is now dead. Something about copyrights. He made that song his own. He had a way of doing that. My older sisters had an early A&M album of his, with Dear Landlord, She Came in Through the Bathroom Window, others. I liberated that album from them in 1981. I remember around 1970 them playing it on a little white record player along with the White Album, A Group Called Smith and Her Satanic Majesty's Request, among many others. No Bobby Sherman crap in OUR house!!

MississippiBlue
The death of Joe Cocker is very sad news indeed. Look up the definition of SOUL in the dictionary. You will see a photo of Joe Cocker. Eternal Rest to him. MississippiBlue

Jimi Mac
I knew something was up when he was all over the radio Monday... I was thoroughly enjoying it until I figured out why... He was a legend! Once of my all-time favorite voices!!! This is very sad to me... As much as I'm a fool for British Blues and British tone, I was a fool for his British voice! There's gonna be some sweet music in Heaven this Christmas!!! Farewell Joe!!!! I think I'll go have a good cry now... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wKNJj6MsGfI With some Mad Dogs & Englishmen... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r5rMauzx5f4
