rocketman Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 So I read the entire thread on the 2015 Les Paul, and it seems that most people are not that happy. My '08 Les Paul is a Premium Plus that has a AAA flame top, which is simply stunning. Then they discontinued the Premium Plus but brought it back a few years ago. But on the 2015s the only AAA top comes in quilt not flame. They had AA, AAA and AAA+ on Les Paul Traditional Flame Tops, but I don't see that in the 2015 models anywhere. I simply don't understand why they don't have this feature. Quilted tops are much more rare than a flame top, so you'd think they would also give this option.
