vintage factory left handed gibson jumbo guitars?

hello, i just posted in the introduce yourself thread, felt the need to ask about this, also posted it at leftyfrets, since i am an unrepentant southpaw:

Yes google is my friend but i have not found any such info- do they exist? How big of a deal is it to leftify (an old word i just made up) say, a 40s or 50s j45 or similar with just the new nut and saddle re-slot? Would the bracing pattern be that big of a deal to the average ear? Not concerned about pickguard or re-sale considerations.

Thanks in advance and i'll sit for my answer. jeff scrivner in southern illinois

just called the shop- 1.71" nut width .81" neck profile depth- bridge filled in after removing adjustable saddle

the salesman said he knows of others who have reversed gibson righties to lefties with no appreciable change in tone
