Tman
I enjoyed that. I couldn't tell who was singing though, and I'm pretty good at telling.
charlie brown
I enjoyed that. I couldn't tell who was singing though, and I'm pretty good at telling. Sounds (more) like George, to me! At times, it sounds like it could be John, too! Definitely Not Paul...and, did Pete ever sing??? Still, I think it's George....or, John. LOL This site says it's John! So...??? Still sounds more like George, to me! Not as "nasal" as John tended to be. But, the higher notes do sound more like John. http://www.beatlesbible.com/songs/to-know-her-is-to-love-her/ CB
ReGuitar
Still, I think it's George....or, John. LOL CB So do I. Plus, the album back cover says Besame Mucho was written by Lennon/McCartney. Regards Re

So young then! Nope - the version that was posted by the OP is from the original DECCA recordings. (The ones where DECCA turned them down for an album deal). The one from the BBC performance is different.:
jaxson50
1422536124[/url]' post='1621729']Nope - the version that was posted by the OP is from the original DECCA recordings. (The ones where DECCA turned them down for an album deal). The one from the BBC performance is different.: I was referring to the version I heard on the NPR, it was from the BeeB, it was from a radio show, Youtube blocked the version I found, so I posted the version you rightfully pointed out is from Decca, but it was made from bootleg tapes reportedly of them rehearsing for a performance at the Caverns. In either case John is singing lead.
