kwalker201
Can you tell us a little about your recording set-up? Simple setup I had 2 mics, 12th fret and sound hole. Scarlett 2i2 interface all ran through garage band. I mixed a little bit in my headphones. I need some studio monitors to get better mixing I think. And the guitar sounded pretty good! I always use one mic for guitar and one for vocals. The vocal mic always makes the guitar sound a little muddy. The bluebird mic I used for the sound hole seemed to pick up my vocals fairly well I thought. Im new to all this recording. I will learn more as I go I'm sure. retrorod
kwalker, I enjoyed that song very much! Good delivery and recording. I think we can assume that you perform 'out' in public venues......but that is your first personal recording effort? If you 'don't' perform in public venues.....you should! Jes' Sayin'.... PS....Since your profile pic is on a motorcycle....Is this a love song to your 'bike'....like..... "you take me places I've never been"?

Just my family and a few of my friends have ever heard me play or sing. There is lots of places that I wish that bike would take me lol.
MorrisrownSal
Keith, Post more of your stuff. You have a great voice that is a smooth cross between Roy Orbison willie Nelson Dwight Yoakham and probably a few others I'll think of. Great control. Let's hear more of that J15!
