On board fuzz circuit

Yeah, this whole concept is about 40 years old. It didn't sell then, and it won't sell now.

The Electra Les Paul mentioned above was a "MPX" model. Great gimmick that died on the vine. Guitar FX are way too personal to be "built-in".

The problem was that you could only use two effects module at a time so your effects were limited. That being said I had mine for 15 years as my backup and the effects were pretty good.

I actually ended up getting one of these this week so I will try it on my next build.. And what I will do is try and space the controls so that if its REALLY bad I can just replace it with a second tone and volume pot..

This one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ARTEC-VTB2-VINTAGE-TONE-CONTROLLER-FOR-ELECTRIC-GUITAR-/150671383705?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item2314b6dc99

It has an on/bypass switch and then a low and high gain boost option and on the board is a screw to change the amount of gain even further.

Im not expecting much.. But it should be an interesting experiment. :)
