Rabs
So ive been looking at all sorts of mini pedals (from my other thread about on board effects).. And I came across the TC HOF mini... What amazed me was how you load the new sounds from a phone.. Have you seen that?? Just incredible.. You hold your phone up to the pickup of your guitar and it sends a signal to the pedal and changes it... and you can edit all those sounds on a PC or MAC.. Wow, that is well cool.. So this is the vid I saw first and when I saw him do that trick with the phone I was like NO WAY!! and then I wanted to know more.. they explain the phone bit at 6:
Guest Farnsbarns
I wouldn't want to wave my phone around my pickups too much. It might be ok but i know it takes very little to bugger up alnico magnets. I think I'd err on the side of caution and not do it.

But I doubt the tiny magnet in the phone speaker (which is encased) would have much effect....?? Donno.. I guess id be a bit careful if I had a reissue or something like that.. Not that im gonna buy one or anything anyway :) But its a cool idea..
Jimi Mac
I bought the full size TC HOF. I love it. The tone prints is a cool idea, but to be honest I literally opted for the default factory loaded tone print. It is a after-effect rolling-on of the reverb after the note is played. The signal off the not is dry and then the saturation rolls on in the aftermath resonance of the note as it decays it actually increases the saturation... This is actually an effect I've been searching for because it is an effect that Peter Green utilized alot both in studio and live with a volume pedal that I think was somehow hooked thru a reverb and he would play a lick and then as the resonance decayed he would roll on a wave of reverb swell and it was an awesome sounding effect. The stock TC HOF default tone print is actually the closest effect I can find to many of those original recordings and performances in that kind of effect... I'm also a sucker for plate reverb, but I'll also admit the TC HOF spring reverb is nearly as good as my stock Fender Blues Deluxe reissue actual spring reverb... The room setting and hall settings are pretty phenomenal too, let alone the church setting...
