badbluesplayer Posted February 7, 2015 Share Posted February 7, 2015 bBP, actually I think it is preferred to have the ball end resting snugly on the bridge plate, and not perched precariously on the end of the bridge pin. Gordon's look fine, with the possible exception of e b string. My bad. I'm not suggesting to leave the string hanging like that. I'm suggesting he bevel the pin and run the string in the slot so it will snug up to the underside of the plate when you pull the string up into place.
