WDeranged
I've put my 50's wiring guts into my SG and clipped the block connectors off my 61 Zebras. In both cases I've soldered the red lead to the lug, white and green together and the black and bare wires to the back of the pot. As far as I know this should be the correct way to wire them but my middle position is a very thin out of phase sound. I've read that Gibson are reversing the polarity of their new factory fitted pickups to accommodate the expanded wiring options they're offering lately, has anyone got any idea how I should wire up these 61 Zebras properly? WDeranged
The bridge pup apparently has the magnet flipped. I ended up swapping the red and black wires, everything's fine now :)
babysnakes
This is exactly what I want to do to my new sg! I want that weird quacky sound in the middle.
