We're going through an ice/snow storm in Nashville and the offices were closed today so it took a little while to restart things. mountainpicker Posted February 17, 2015 Share Posted February 17, 2015 Having grown up in the Midwest and part time in the South, ice storms are times to stay home and play some guitar because they don't have enough snow plows and people don't have snow tires and don't know how to drive on slick roads. When I first moved to Colorado I was astounded that people would regularly take a long drive during a snow storm and on snow packed roads, at full highway speeds no less. It only took one encounter with a blue flashing light coming right at me down the middle of a road, in almost zero visibility, to realize that snow plows have the right of way, and for a reason.
