Tim Plains
If it says Gibson on the headstock I ******* hate it and you're an idiot for buying it. It's no different than buying a Gibson from China. There was a place in Hamilton, ON, that made replica '59 Les Pauls and made around 30 before Gibson shut them down. The Guitar Clinic, that's probably one of them. By the way, nice replica. I didn't know the originals came with RS caps.

That's cool to have that kind of documentation of one of your guitars. Hope it plays, feels & sounds as good as it looks. 3K.. great find! Good luck!!! GuitarJunkie
You shouldn't have any problems. The government of Canada is only interested in screwing over canadians. Since it's entering the US, it's actually US Customs' policies that will apply. As far as duties, if it's built in North America it will be duty free. deepblue
if it's built in North America it will be duty free. I paid duty on my pre-wired Strat pickguard. It came from the states. I was not thrilled to have to fork over $75 to the postman.

What you likely paid was GST' date=' PST, and a brokerage fee so some dink could rubber stamp it through customs. But not [i']duty[/i]... Hooray for "free" trade!!!
