Buc McMaster
Not sure why, but this tune makes me think of Nick. Recorded on the iPhone at the Tiki Island beach house on a retreat from the big city........... https://youtu.be/dXiRWO2ZvdE
j45nick
Phil Ochs was a deeply troubled, extremely talented man. He was pretty insightful about the human condition, but could never quite come to terms with it. He usually played a J-45, by the way. This is one of his best songs, and you've done a really, really nice version of it. Thanks, Buc.
RichG
Very nice. Loved Phil Ochs. Saw him the first time in 1964 in a concert in the gym at Northeastern U. In Boston. BTW, the think the song is called "When I'm Gone" . That's how it's listed in the Phil Ochs song book from 1966 I have. Rich

zombywoof
I love Phil Ochs and was fortunate to get to see him a few times. His live in the studio concerts on the Bob Fass show on WBAI were also a real treat.
