Phil Ochs was a deeply troubled, extremely talented man. He was pretty insightful about the human condition, but could never quite come to terms with it.


He usually played a J-45, by the way.


This is one of his best songs, and you've done a really, really nice version of it.

Very nice. Loved Phil Ochs. Saw him the first time in 1964 in a concert in the gym at Northeastern U. In Boston. BTW, the think the song is called "When I'm Gone" . That's how it's listed in the Phil Ochs song book from 1966 I have.
