rednefceleb
I need the help of Epiphone players to give me their review of the Casino with P-90's and the 339 Ultra. Playability and build are my concerns. Upgrading electronics costs only a little more. If the Casino and 339 both have basically the same build quality, and playability.....I will have to look towards the "Epiphone Elitist" group. Thanx. Thanx. both are made at the same factory as of late. they are totally different beasts though. different size bodies, casino is hollow/339 Ultra is semi, pickups are different, upgrading electronics in a 339 Ultra may not be as easy as you think with all of the electronics being connected to the huge circuit board. really they are more different than the same. not sure if that helps but I would recommend a test drive if possible. bacongrease
Not the same guitar but I love the stock p90's on the riviera p93. I think you can't go wrong either one. I'd recommend getting both & returning one or not--keep both.

The Casino Blak and Blu Gary Clark Jr guitar has Gibson P90s and pots, no need to upgrade the electronics. The build quality is outstanding ... I had a 2011 Epi Casino and there's no comparison between the two, BNB is Gibson-level quality. Plus it looks gorgeous, maybe the best looking guitar either Gibson or Epiphone makes right now. And you can get it for about $800, $840 if you want a Bigsby.
Ryder
I've had the Casino Coupe for a few months now, and love the stock pickups. It surely is a different beast though as mentioned earlier. The weight of mine is 5.5 lbs. and it's great for my poor old back.
