Epi Blak & Blu Gary Clark Jr. guitar

Recommended Posts

I believe I have found my dream acoustic electric. In 50 years of guitar playing I have never owned an acoustic electric. I can just tell buy what I have read (and heard).....this is the one I want. Gibson single coils, excellent build and sound. I'm hoping that owners of this new guitar will describe their experience so far. My Les Paul Tribute Plus with Gibson pups has been close to any Les Paul I have owned. I just feel that the B&B will exceed the Tribute Plus by quite a bit. OPINIONS anyone?

Here's a link to a few reviews from those that have them on the MLP forum:

Most that have them really seem to like them. I have an Elitist Casino, and this looks like the closest thing to it in terms of p/u's, switches, etc. but note that it really is NOT an acoustic/electric. It's a hollow body electric, and while you can get some nice "bedroom" sounds out of it unamp'd, it's not even close to a true acoustic/electric.

Other than that, I'm pretty sure you'll be happy. My Elitist has become my "go to" guitar over the past year or so.

I'd love one with the trapeze, simply a gorgeous guitar. My ES339 Pro is getting a lot of love and I'm sure the B&B is a cut above in quality and playability. [thumbup]

I've even entered an Epiphone promotion to win one! [biggrin]
