Flying-V Bass

I know Gibson issued some 300-something basses in Flying-V shape, but my question is, where would I find one?

Could be Gibson or Epiphone, I just dont find them on Epiphones catalogue!

Well, technically, the URL for it EXITS, but there is no information on the status (if its discontinued, sold out, "Buy Now", etc)

Just been crazy to find one, halp!!

Ebay just had a vintage Gibson Flying V bass in the Silverburst color. Problem with the Gibson Flying V basses is that they are being priced for collectors - ($$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$) So if you are looking for one to gig out with, you may want to look for an Epiphone on Ebay. Sometimes you can even stumble onto other vintage V-basses made by other companies like Ibanez, Tokai, etc...

Every once in a while they show up on Ebay' date=' I have seen an Epiphone version at a local music store. Your best bet may be a music store that specializes in used gear, like Music-Go-Round.[/quote']

+1 Your best bet is looking for a epi model, or stealing the flying v away from the lead singer of "all american rejects"
