New Les Paul Traditional Limited Edition

T-Rev

Recommended Posts

Now this is more like it. (minus G Force tuning system)

A Les Paul Traditional with traditional weight relief (swiss cheese bullet hole) like the 2008-2012 LP Traditional's. A 60's slim taper neck. The current 59 tribute humbuckers.

Looks like a solid limited edition Traditional LP.

Come on Gibson - Keep the course correction coming.

I emailed a rep at American Musical and they said their documents show it as a Classic 59. I have contacted Gibson to see what they say in regards to this guitar and if any info will be posted on their website in the coming days.

If i hear something I will post it here. This would be wildly curious if these are new Classic 59 pickups! I will want to hear one as soon as possible. If they were something based off of the Classic 57 this highly peeks my curiosity.

Yeah would be cool to know what they are. I love 57's! But I have to say that the 59 Tributes are awesome too. In comparison to the 57 Classic/Angus Young Sig. combo in my LPJ to my ears there is a much better note separation on the 59's. And the 57 sounds much darker. But LPJ and Traditional are two very different beasts. So it is not a good comparison.
