fordman0754
I just bought my first guitar a few days ago.. an SG faded. Im am new to all this and is the first instrumet I have ever played. The front pickup hangs out the body around 1/8th of an inch and the rear pickup about 3/4. I would think they would be even with each other but maby not.Is this normal and if so why?Im quessing that there is nothing wrong but I figured i would ask. Thanks!! clance
First of all, lets see some pics. Second of all, the strings are angled and you may notice if you look closely that they are closer to the body near the neck, and higher above the body near the bridge. And so, to have an even distance from the strings, the pickups will be different heights from each other. Third of all welcome to the forum.
