Chibson Supreme, taken apart and analyzed

Recommended Posts

very interesting video. so it's real wood, no veneer. so add $250 for a refret, about $250 for pups, pots and caps, $90 for a set of gold grovers, and another couple hun for a new bridge and tail pc. so you add $800 to the price and get a pretty fair guitar. other than the handful of mistakes that you can't correct, that is. bridge alignment is kinda major. so if you got lucky with the bridge alignment, you could have a pretty nice guitar for thousands less than the real thing. not that i'm advocating chibson. instead, i would point out that it's proof that some gibson les pauls are ridiculously priced.
