badbluesplayer Posted August 28, 2015 Share Posted August 28, 2015 I just bought a nice Tweed Deluxe Cabinet with a Weber Alnico 12A125A - a great speaker for a Deluxe! One hundred twenty five bucks for both - they'd go for $350.00 new on the street. I'm getting ready to build a Deluxe so that's convenient! The cabinet seems to be built from red cedar and it sounds great! The tag is a little crooked and needs to be moved a hair. I also got a Kalamazoo Model 1 amp at the same time for another $125.00. Sailjunkie Posted August 28, 2015 Share Posted August 28, 2015 Nice! I actually scored a Kalamazoo Model 1 quite a while ago now. I found it by the side of the road on trash day. It is in remarkably good condition, but I think it needs a cap job (loud HUM), and a 3 prong cord. Your post inspires me so I think I will take it to my amp guy and use it in my office. Thanks!
