tlwwalker
"real quick" Used anywhere, in any phrase or sentence, at any time, in any context. It almost always attempts to excuse an interruption, a rudeness.
ksdaddy
Quite often heard on the television show "Cops". "have you got anything in the car I should know about? Mind if I take a look real quick?" The implication is that if the person allows the officer to search "real quick", nothing will come of it and they will continue on their way. Not getting into Fourth Amendment stuff, just suggesting the use of "real quick" in this case is pure sugar coating.
surfpup
The word "actually"bugs me. People drop it in everywhere. Like, one might say... "I was actually thinking the other day that Gibson makes good guitars". How is this any more emphatic than "I was thinking the other day that Gibson makes good guitars"?
