A.D. Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Check out the pics below. Slash is playing these gorgeous Les Paul models, with a pick guard (!), and his name is on each headstock. Does this mean we can expect more Slash signatures in 2016? Let the speculation begin :) !
Rabs Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Probably.. he has several already and actually I really like them (ive played some of the older sig models).... And why not.. Slash is a great working guitarist and deserves it (well I think anyway)..

Have an Epiphany gold top signature, would love to have a Gibson.
Rick Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Like it. If it basically is a traditional with Alnico II's and that nice Tobacco/Vintage Sunburst, without any logo, I'd really keep it in mind for a future purchase.
1all's Pub Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Slash with a pickguard and no zebras??? The world is outta control... Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria!!! Seriously... beautiful LPs he has (as always).

Yeah, this is gorgeous, and he plays Standard usually not Traditional. So might be a new signature. Gibson might be keeping this under wraps. See two more pics below.
Rabs Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Also this is the other thing about Slash when it comes to Gibson... At the time LPs wernt that popular cos of all the big hair glam bands or metal bands... Slash almost single handedly made Les Pauls cool again So as I say.. If anyone deserves more sig models its him.. (and on a personal note hes one of the reasons I wanted to play an electric guitar and specifically a Les Paul) (and yes I know very ironically that his Les Paul wasn't even a Gibson ) almost 30 years ago now :o

See two more pics below. Yeah, I know he plays Standard. In my mind, the Traditional (in the USA line) represents the original Standard no chambers, no too modern specs and so on.
