MissouriPicker
Besides being a super picker and great artist, Marty Stuart has a huge collection of items linked to country music. The article is excellent, but the two videos are fantastic. His stories on the second video are great, especially the one about Keith Richards and George Jones.........Hope you enjoy. http://americanprofile.com/articles/marty-stuart-country-music-memorabilia-video/

fortyearspickn
Funny how a little thing like a make up case in a pawn shop can be the start of a one-of-a-kind museum. Imagine 100 years from now - when people buy tickets to see sequined 'nudie suits' and find out they're really the CW version of a zoot suit ! MissouriPicker
There are also some Nashville tales of Cash, Richards, and Jones out on Cash's boat at 3am smoking a joint and playing some songs. I can believe the playing songs part, but hard to believe any of these three guys would be smoking anything...........I've read that some of Stuart's collection is often on display at the Cash Museum in Nashville. Murph
Marty played with Scotty Stoneman a little when he was just a 14/15 year old pup as I understand. I'd love to talk to him about my 1933 Gibson A-00 mandolin that once belonged to Scotty. I'd say it's very likely he would remember it and could have a story or two.
