PacificaChris Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Hello all, I have a 1969 ES-330 that I'd like to take a good look inside. I have an inspection mirror and a flashlight but I was wondering if there were any other tricks to seeing inside these babies. Also I'd like to mention that there's some fluffy material inside the instrument. I haven't seen a lot of 330's but I don't recall ever seeing anything like that. It's pretty obviously a one owner guitar that's been played hard although no other mods, as far as I can tell. Thanks!
stein Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 I think the easiest way to look inside would be to remove a pup, and do the mirror thing as you are. I have a feeling the fluffy stuff is an attempt at controlling feedback. I imagine you couldn't see much with that stuff in there. But then, I don't know exactly what you are describing.
